Here are some reports on special events.
| "Fête de la musique"
2003
In the night from the 21st to the 22nd of June 2003, everywhere in
France, the "Fête de la musique" took place.
This event, started about 20 years ago in France, is still very
popular.
Here is the principle: each year, during the first night of Summer
(21st of June), everybody who plays an instrument or sings is
invited to take possession of the street and to show his talent to
the popular audience. There is no jury, no prize and no
competition. Pure amateurs are side by side with semi or full
professionals. But each public performance has to be free of charge
for the audience.
This night, each small village and each city block in the country
is transformed into a concert hall where all styles are melted
together.
