Title: Enter Chord name Post by CHaynie on Jan 15th, 2021, 11:33pm I need to enter a chord name above a selected note. I just updated 7.9.3c. My memory is that ctl-K was used to enter chord names above the staff. Has this changed? perhaps I don't remember correctly. In any case I can't find the instruction in the documentation. Thanks in advance |

Title: Re: Enter Chord name Post by CHaynie on Jan 16th, 2021, 7:48am I think all I want to do is enter text with the Chord name (ie A) above the melody staff as is common with folk music. No guitar patterns or anything complicated |

Title: Re: Enter Chord name Post by bubu42 on Jan 16th, 2021, 9:11am Well, that should do the trick. You don't need to check the chord diagram or automatic computing boxes. What I often do is : check the "display chords" box, uncheck the "show frames" and choose "every beat". |

Title: Chord name position Post by Tony Deff on Jan 16th, 2021, 11:38am If diagrams are not to be displayed, you may also position the chord-name line below the staff by dragging down the red >c.... in the left-margin icon set. Do not forget to un-check "Staff with lyrics" in the black triangle menu ! |
