does not launch on Ubuntu 22.04. It doesn't work. No go. BUGGED.
Melody Assistant 7.9.5c works fine.
How can I download an earlier version of Harmony Assistant, for instance version 9.9.2d, as mentioned by olemalm, to see if it perhaps works on my machine ?

I have a copy of melody-assistant-7.9.5c.0.run which works on Ubuntu 22.04, but I don't know how to get it to you. Attachments on these emails are limited to 1000KB, and the file is 54.3MB, so it won't fit. If you know how I can send it to you, let me know. It's a shame myriad-online doesn't host old versions of their software.

I just now saw this thread and downloaded and installed the Windows i86 (32-bit) version and installed it.
The bug in which Virtual Singer w/microtonal accident doubles “Computing # human voices” playback tracks resulting in total silence on any and all VS tracks with even one microtonal accidental ornament on any note is still there, still acting the same as before, all the way back to version 9.4 when the new microtonal accidentals were introduced to replace the old “Turkish Commas” (which worked fine). VS is still useless to me in this state, since VS + microtonal (using Turkish Commas for microtuning) is well over 90% of what I do with it. (Yes, the bug still happens if I just use the Turkish Comma ornaments instead of any of the newer microtonal accidentals.)
The “Windows” menu still has its help texts set to the wrong menu items, at least in the English UI. This makes it harder to learn for newer users.
I’ve posted about both of these before, in detail.
Another very serious problem seems to be new to this version. I went to open a file, and instead of the plain file dialog we’d always had, some new fancy one popped up (I see that listed as the “New file/folder selector” as New Feature №1 in the “What’s New” for version 9.9.6 [no letter]), and in trying to navigate that I clicked on the Details button.
Now what appeared to be Myriad Music Player opened up with the .myr file I’d had selected, and filled the entire Harmony Assistant window, graying out all the menu bar items except for the “Windows” menu. It had no buttons for opening the file, dismissing the Melody Player, or anything else besides the Melody Player buttons itself, for playing the displayed file with or without Virtual Singer, etc. I couldn’t make it go away, nor even exit Harmony Assistant. Even the big red × in the upper right corner that normally closes any application did nothing. I had to go to Windows Task Manager to force-quit it.
This version should never have been released. Neither should any 9.5 or 9.4. 9.3 was the most recent properly working version and you really need to go back to that until you have these bugs and more fully worked out.

Bonjour
J'ai téléchargé Harmony Assistant 9.9.6C et suis sous Mac OS Ventura. Il est impossible d'ouvrir mes nombreux fichiers .myr.
Je peux ouvrir en revanche les fichiers .myr.bak
Avez-vous une solution ?
J'attache un fichier exemple que j'ai fait hier et qui ne s'ouvre plus !

J'ai juste une alerte sur l'aire papier différente de celle de mon imprimante, mais cela arrive.
Y a-t-il un message ou un crash ?
Dans les préférences générales > Annulation, quelle option de sauvegarde des annulation est choisie ?
Si c'est "sauvegarder à part" et "conserver les annulations", il se peut qu'un fichier historique corrompu existe.
Dans ce cas, il faut essayer le bouton "effacer maintenant".

dossier contenant mes musics .MYR personnelles, mais à un
dossier Music vide. Avec le navigateur de Windows 10
j'ai accès au dossier plein par le chemin que je
connais depuis que j'utise Harmony Assistant ; Ce
PC/Documents/Myriad Documents/Music.
Chaque fois que je veux aller sur ce dossier Harmony Assistant
m'envoie depuis une fenêtre que je ne connais pas
auparavant, sur le dossier Demos dans lequel je ne
peux rien modifier...
