¿Por que no se juntan los caracteres para cerrar los corchetes derecho-Izquierdo de este cifrado?. Yo escribo según las indicaciones del manual, pero el resultado es extraño. No es correcto.

It appears that the graphical characters represented by "f" and "i" are not tall enough to extend through the leading (the space between lines).
This is probably something that should be reported to the Guillons, but if you can get the "character set" feature to work properly, you could replace these two characters with glyphs that work better. Many fonts have what they call "line drawing" characters or "box drawing" characters, and the My Figured Bass font is obviously intended to use those lines. Possibly they were taken from the wrong base font.
I hope the foregoing is clear in translation, Pepe. If not, let me know, and I will try to find the Spanish vocabulary to make it clear.

What you want is a character such as the one circled in red, but probably shifted a bit to the left or right of the character space.

Not sure, Paul. The 5 characters should be longer, since there might be only two lines; and not only the corners, since there can be more than one "simple vertical line" above each other.
I see that as a problem of "font heigth". That's from old implementation in mainframes....

Bueno, los corchetes de cierre no se utilizan demasiado. Pero se debería solucionar. Es que H.A. se hace poco fiable...  para los probadores y potenciales usuarios.
También hay una pregunta (la del millón  ) La única forma "normal" que yo sepa de escribir esos bajos cifrados es con la Herramienta de TEXTO con Estilo. Un auténtico incordio y de muy pobre rendimiento.
Yo sé un truco para poder escribir rápido y con todo perfectamente alineado,(excepto los corchetes) pero es un truco de experto. Un usuario normal no lo pensará. 
Les confieso que actualmente, solo me ata a H.A. el Virtual Singer.

That's strange - I did successfully try that font a year or more ago.
Could it be that printer line-spaces are different in Europe (Didot/Pica)?

Gracias Toni  Pero es que yo ya no tengo edad para estudiar o resolver cuestiones de la informática.  Los programas tienen que ser compatibles, intuitivos y sin complicaciones. No puedo, ni debo, pasar mas tiempo intentando entender el programa que a componer o escribir música.

¿Sospechas que muchos compositores dejaron sinfonías inacabadas porque estaban usando Harmony Assistant?
Do you suspect that many composers left unfinished symphonies because they were using Harmony Assistant?

Yo solo soy un aficionadillo a la música coral. Jamás he sido profesional. Por supuesto que ni un milagro lograría que yo (no hiciese una sinfonía inacabada), es que no la podría ni siquiera comenzar...!
En serio, tengo mas problemas con HA del que debiera tener. Sobre todo de rendimiento y estabilidad. Yo, por "defecto" profesional, soy muy exigente en que todo lo que se vende debe funcionar bien. Si nó; poco futuro le veo. El lema es este: "La calidad asegura el futuro". Aquí se están dejando demasiados cables sueltos y se avanza un poco a la deriva.
