There are effects in HA that can be applied to single notes to yield a tremolo, but how does one indicate a two-note tremolo (i.e., a rapid alternation of the two notes)?

In that matter, I think you'd better turn to special beams (miscellaneous tools, 6th button). You first link the two notes of the tremolo, then edit the special beam. On the right of the edit window, you can have all the settings (number of lines, thinckness, distance from the stem) and at the bottom there's a checkbox to have it played correctly. You can also adjust the slope with the mouse. Easy, isn't it ?
