Do not want Myriad HQ

Hello, I'm using Garritan Instruments via midi channels - so I do not want to use Myriad HQ! Have tried to "not enable Myriad HQ" in Configuration, but I still see 36 'high Q nn' in the list of instruments "Relate staves/Instruments"? How to delete these 'high Q instruments'? or remove (HQ module) from HA?

Hi! I'm not sure that's linked to Myriad HQ. The "high Q" instrument is mysterious, but in MIDI drums nomenclatura. If you have unwanted instruments in the relate staff/instrument, you can try first "delete unused instruments" in Instrument menu. This remove all instruments that are not used by any staff or rule (drum staff use a lot). If you have drum staves, where you only use kick, snare and hi-hat, you can edit the rules of the staff. In the list, the rules with a dot on the left are used, others (crash, splash, bongos...) doesn't. You can safely remove these rules. Then Instruments > Delete unused will clear the list I suppose you have already disabled HQ in Configuration > Myriad HQ > untick "Enable". Also note that the instruments name are not related to the instrument sound. "instr 1", "instr 2" are frequent, unless you have good processes and rename piano as "Piano" and sax à "Sax". The instrument name is on the top left corner of the "Edit instrument" dialog.

High Q indicates a lower rate of energy loss where oscillations die out more slowly. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q_factor (technical language!)
