Playing in live GoldBase...

Well, the GoldBase appear to be good, isnt it?
Really a good job that will grow with the time.
But, for me, still the GoldBase have a problem.
I really dont feel very good recording a live playing in Melody. Why? because the sound that i use to express what i want is not the same that will be hear. Example: I like the Piano1 of the Goldbase, i want to record a very expressive melody with it. But when i hit the record button, i play all my expression trough another instrument ( the piano of a cheap soundcard, or the piano of a external synth) that never is the same. This in the case that you have an equivalent instrument in your midi output. If not, the difference is more.
The solution, well... i have the problem, not the solution   , probably do it is impossible, or not. I think that the latency time using a software synth cant give us a real use of the soundbase. Maybe using more hardware related programming to increase the speed of the use of Melody can result in unstability or incompatibility between platforms. But i have seen VST instruments using samples for Mac and PC that works well enough, like virtual sampler, that use wav samples, without hardware specific, and runs well on a Pentium II with 96 mb of ram.
Well, what you think?
