Will Galerie be updated?

I've been using Galerie for many years now. I like it very much, simple and flexible. I'm running Mac OS 10.5.7 on a PPC and will update to a new iMac next week and to 10.6 when it comes out. Will you be updating Galerie? Thanks, silvia

Because under 10.5.8 with a PPC no one galerie version runs! Last Béta version doesn't run! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!

Could this be a problem specific on your Mac? Exactly what does not work? Both the Galerie 5.4.0 release version and the January 2008 beta work fine in 10.5.8 on my Intel iMac and in 10.5.8 on my PowerBook G4. (The 5.4.0 release version of course has the known problem in 10.5.x with dragging image files in a folder with a space in its name.)

| Galerie 5.4.0 has been working for me fine with my old G5 PPC and my new iMac - both with OS X 10.5.8. I'm about to update to OS X 10.6.1 and would like to know (or find out if published) the problems I may encounter. Where do I find the 5.5.0 beta version? How stable is it? Thanks, silvia

I do not know if Galerie will work in 10.6. I will not upgrade my system any time soon, because software that is essential to me does not (yet) work in Snow Leopard. The Galerie beta is here: http://www.myriad-online.com/mac/GalerieBeta.dmg This beta version will not work in 10.4.x or earlier and it differs only with the latest release version for one specific problem in Leopard that affects dragging images in a folder that has a space in its name.

I check the forum to see if anyone has tried Gallerie with snow leopard 10.6 but so far I have not seen any postings to the forum from anyone who has tried this. Do we have any new information yet on whether Gallerie will still work with snow leopard? Is there anyone who can test this so we will know if it is safe to upgrade now? thanks

Some users had reported a problem on editing comments inside Galerie. I didn't find the time to explore this, may be this week end... On Mac OS X 10.6.2 I don't see other trouble. Best regards

I just installed MAc OS 10.6.7. Galerie won't function. When I drag files into the app to generate a gallery, I get this alert message: Apple Script Error sort: open failed: +1: No such file or directory (2) Does anybody know a workaround?
