How do get rid off all entered comments?

Hi,
I wrote sometimes a comment via function "enter a comment" "if none existing" (in german GUI "Einen Kommentar schreiben" "Wenn es noch keinen gibt").
1) I thought this comment is used temporarily only for creating a individual gallery. No the entered comment is stored permanently and I can't find this location to remove all at once.
2) Is there a possibility to enter a comment, that is correctly diplay as an active link to an existing URL? A entered comment like
"<p><a href="http://www.muenchen.de">Stadt München</a></p>"
cannot be used as a link

1. The comments are saved in ~/Library/Preferences/Galerie Base Comments.dat
To lose the comments, simply trash that file.
2. It is not possible to enter html code in comments (nor in the text boxes in Galerie main window or preferences window) as all needed special characters (like <>") will be replaced by their html codes. If you want to have links like that, the only way is to edit comments in the pages afterwards. (Think of characters or code that can easily be changed with a 'find and replace' to produce the correct links.)
You are the second user who asks for a way to enter html code through Galeries interface. Maybe for a next version in the 'Advanced' section of the preferences a choice (checkbox) could be added that prevents translation of some characters to their html code. That would enable entering links as such. We'll think about that.

 That would be a great idea and make Galery much more effective. I missed the possiblility to link my own photos/galleries with sites containing information or text about the shot sujets. Copying of those texts in your own comment window violates eventually copyrights.

The one tag that can be entered using the text boxes is <br>. Entering [ and ] instead of < and > will insert <br> in the source. An alternative solution for your request in a next version of Galerie could be to have any combination of [ and ] turn into < and > without changing the characters that are enclosed. That way any html tag could be entered. I cannot tell right now if this solution (or the previous one) can be realized in Galerie, that needs to be investigated. Didier Guillion is the one who can judge that.

At first view, I don't see major problem to substitute the '[' and ']' character with '<' and '>' while processing fields.
I 'll analyze this deeper as soon as possible.

How can a picture gallery with lot of information (assembled by Galerie) be found by any search machine without using meta tags?

Hey, take it easy. Galerie is not a web editor! 
You can edit template files and/or generated index pages to your liking in any web editor or, when you know your html, in any text editor.
BTW, search machines do not look only in the meta tags, but also in the body of the page, some even note body content as more important than meta tag information as people can (and do) put anything in meta tags to try and make their pages score higher in search machines.
Did you try and search Google for "generated by galerie"? Try that, you will be surprised.

I know Galerie is NOT a HTML-Editor. But it was never before so easy to create picture shows. In following part of my homepage is every red dot representing a link to a gallery assembled with Gallerie. See:

I would also be glad for any html we could use, as you know. iBlog has [HTMLCode], which can be quite convenient. Willy, you would love iBlog, I bet. Adding snippets of HTML is such fun, who can resist it?
Meanwhile, I agree that there's not much point in the meta tags as a user feature. You can easily pop those into the head of the template. I have several templates now... album styles can vary. It's often easier to just make a template for a particular album, because spacing on the page can change when a batch of photos are a different size than in a previous album.
I sorted through a batch of odd size photos today and have another album to upload, so I'm very happy about that.

Here is Galerie beta 3.4b1 that allows html to be entered in comments and other text boxes:

Note:
- This is not a finished release version. Try it, but do not yet redo your existing galleries yet. The final version may behave differently.
- In this beta the option to enter html is always on, in a final version it will be off be default. It will be an option that can be chosen in preferences.
- The possibility to enter html is achieved by preventing translation of < and > and " by their html codes. In some text boxes entering those characters will obviously cause problems with this option on. For instance when you use a html tag in the 'Main page title' those characters would appear as such in the title in the head of the page.
- In all text boxes it was (and still is) possible to enter br between square brackets that will be translated to <br> in the source (just like in this forum, that is why I cannot write the br between square brackets here), and that <br> will not appear in the Title in <head><title>Title</title></head>
Try it, play with it, and please tell us what you think of it and report any problems you may encounter.
(I think it is fun, playing with this option. One cannot only insert links, but also change text color or font, even insert images, buttons, tables. Let your imagination guide you.)
