I just tried Galery and I think that it is really great.
Now for my purpose I need only a index pages with thumbnails and no linked pages with greater pictures. Is it possible to make only index pages with thumbnails ? And can I change on any way the text at the end of the index page, who says that I should click on the picture to get a greater photo ? I would like to write here a personal copyright text.

As far as I know it is not possible in the current version. But I suppose it is possible to add as a feature, for instance making Galerie creating a thumbnail page without links and not creating any picture pages when the maximum picture size is set to "0". Wether a new feature will be added depends on how complex it is to build and on how many users request that particular feature. Didier Guillion will be able to answer that.

That is easy: In the language panel in preferences you can enter as "translation" for that text any text you wish.

Hi,
Why not, this sound interesting.
This is now implemented in this version :
http://www.myriad-online.com/mac/GalerieBeta.dmg
Just set the picture size to 0 or use the related shortcut in the "shortcuts" menu.
By the way, when this mode is active, the "Click a picture to enlarge" is not displayed on the index page.

That makes sense , but I guess 'turner1948' will then need to enter his copyright text in the template, when using this feature:
- In "Galerie Templates" copy the folder of the template you wish to use.
- In this "template copy" open the file "index template.html" in a text editor or in a html editor ('Text Edit' will be fine).
- Find the string $ENLARGE&, replace it with the text you want to use and save.
- Use the "template copy" for your thumbnail gallery.

It works perfect and looks exactly as I need it.
When I publish the new index pages made with Galery on my home page I will inform you.
In the moment I did it with "QuickNailer". You can see it under www.fotografie-kunst.com. Please go there to the point "Foto-Archiv" and choose any theme you are interested (I am sorry it is only in German).
