Nice idea, but it does not work for me, hélas.
What works is that existing files on the server are not transferred again, but deleting unused files does not work, neither deleting all at the same time nor deleting them one by one.
I will send you the console log by email.
About the text in the dialog:
In English I would use: "There are xx unused files..."
rather than: "There is xx unused files..."
Is it possible to add the name (path) of the folder on the server in this text to indicate that the last used target folder is meant? The text could then be:
"There are xx unused files in folder xxxxx on the server.
Do you want to delete them?"

I have a problem too. Galerie wants to delete 3 "unused files" located at the root of the galerie, but these files are those contained in the "fullsize" folder and they are not unused, they are crucials.

For me, that is what there is indicated when I selected "one by one", but the files must not be deleted and their location is not exact.
