Perhaps Christ[Chreest] ? or Christ[#kRist] which matches the French pronunciation.

Wouldn't you record a little mp3 where you sing or pronounce yourself what you would expect? This would better enable us to advise or research.

I think your best bet would be to use SAMPA for it. If you want a long i, you're better off using [#kr&ist]?

I'm not clear what the problem is. In my setup, both the American and the British versions of "Christ" sound the same. However, if you want to dictate the pronunciation, my preference would be for [#kraIst].
