Harmony Assistant provides several methods for
sharing your music. You can use your MUSL space,
generate multi-platform files in MyrWeb format or
create movies.
It is this last method that we will detail here.
In a few clicks you will create a movie that can be shares on YouTube, Facebook or other social network.
First step : document setup

The movie will be the most faithful
representation possible of the music which scrolls
when you play it.
Once your music is loaded in Harmony:
- Choose if you want a representation in scroll mode
or page mode because both are managed
- Adjust the size of the window: it will be the size
of your movie
- Adjust the scale of your document so that it
scrolls in a pleasant way
Play your music to verify that the settings are
correct.
Second step : movie setup

The menu "File > Export> Movie" opens the
export configuration box.
A movie consists of three parts:
- opening credits
- the score which scrolls with the music
- end credits
White or black fade effects can be added as well as
sequences between texts.
The durations of the effects are adjustable.

In the texts you can use the
escape sequences: $T, $C, etc. A
contextual menu offers you the
most useful sequences.

A "Preview" button previews the first seconds of your movie.
If you do not want text, set the text duration to
zero.
If you don't want to fade out, set the fade time to
zero.
Once the parameters have been adjusted, click on
"Ok" to choose the name and format of your movie.
You can specify the extension, like mp4, mov, mkv,
avi etc. This will determine the format of your
movie.
Generation can take several minutes.
Additional step : ffmpeg install

Harmony Assistant uses the free ffmpeg software
to generate movies. It must be installed on
your computer.
If this is not the case, a message will be
displayed before the export configuration. Please use this link to download the latest version of ffmpeg.
