Harmony 9.4 / Melody 7.4  Etape 177

Display score and play .myr files
An alternative approach (instead of changing Melody Player) is to improve the integration of Myriad Music Plug-in with web browsers.

For instance, when one installs the Scorch plug-in, it registers itself with the web browser in such a way that the browser can open a native Sibelius .sib file, without needing an HTML wrapper.

If the same could be done with the Myriad plug-in, then the user would be able to open .myr files with their web browser, and see the score at the same time as playing it.

Opera rocks :)
I use Opera navigator, it automatically use the plug-in to display a myr file without any html wrapper.

I click on a link pointing to a .myr, plug-in appears

In the settings I can modify this behavior to force download or open with a windows application. But the default (use plug-in to see the .myr file) is really perfect !

Evolution player
