Issues exporting MIDIs

Hello,
I just purchased Melody Assistant for the sole purpose of converting a couple hundred .mus files to musescore compositions.
The .mus files I have are "Sacred Harp" songs (traditional shape note hymns) that consist of 4 simultaneous staves with lyrics. I've tried exported as both midi 1 and .kar files, and both have the same poor result. Opening the midi in musescore, most of the notes and lyrics are missing, and there is only one stave. The result is unrecognizable from the original song.

I would greatly appreciate any insight you guys may be able to offer....
Thanks in advance !!

Hello, thanks for the reply. Melody assistant does not provide an option for exporting to XML.
Here is an example of the files I am working with .

I just tried with HA, export to midi1, open with musescore, save as "26 Samaria.mscz"
Look at http://jeanpierre.moularde.free.fr/images/Samaria.zip
Unless there is an important difference between HA and MA in exporting mid1 files (which I don't believe) you should be able to get what you want.
Don't forget to select "all" in the "Staff select" dialog box

Thanks for the reply ! Now, the notes are in tact, but the words are not  preserved. The .mus file in MH reads "My spirit looks to God alone, my rock and refuge is His throne..." and the resulting musescore reads "My it looks a lone , and fuge is..."

If you look at the attached picture, the program recognizes the full lyrics, but for some reason only puts partial lyrics in the score. Why is this?

La exportación .midi, generalmente pierde mucha información. (M.A.

MA is just a limited version of HA, i.e. some functions don’t work at all and other functions are exactly the same. Before deciding to buy MA rather than spending a bit more for HA users should ensure that all functions they need are part of MA. I’m afraid there is nothing you can do without paying for a HA licence.

Using HA and MusicXML is certainly the long-term solution, since the transfer of files via XML is the current standard.

Transfer via MIDI is the old solution. Very few editors read or write the lyrics in MIDI format.

Now, if MA exports the lyrics in MIDI, and MuseScore imports them with errors, it is quite possible that the bug is in the MS importing logic. You might want to look at a MuseScore forum, there could be other users with the same issue.

Ciertamente.
