I am totally useless at icons and pictograms - I cannot understand what a square/circle/triangle on clothing labels mean.
In ancient Egypt, I would be illiterate - has anyone published a "pictionary" ?

I had to ask how to enable Virtual Singer: silly me - looking for a menu item, when it should have been obvious you had to click to open the curtain and click the little birdy!

H. A. does allow you to change the icons at the beginning of staves (Windows > Miscellaneous Tools > Effects Processor), which you can change into an apple or a dog
You can also create your own icons, perhaps a bathroom or alpine valley for reverberation? The landscape icon is more appropriate for reverberation = off.
What other music programs allow you to do that ?

I am reminded of the acronym Kiss (Keep It Simple, Stupid!)
